As I've said, I've been having a really hard time blogging lately. Just not feeling like starting, and when I do, I am at a loss of things worth typing about. I'm really pretty boring. :P Not that it really makes up for not blogging all week, but I've decided to try to fill in the gap with a quick week review.
With Colin out of the house, I've been picking at his room - getting rid of trash here and going through some old clothes there. Its on our radar for this weekend to clean the areas that have been hit hardest by his messes, so I've been trying to pick some of the lighter things off as the week has gone by.
D's Job search has gone exceptionally well. From the applications she sent out last week, two of them responded with interviews. One in particular is looking very promising: several people she used to work with are working on a new project. Details were few, but she seems very interested in it, and they seem very interested in her. I'm very proud of her for sticking to her search. On Wednesday, she went in for an interview for the aforementioned promising position, and was there for most the evening. She said it was less of an interview and more like having a conversation with old friends. I've been hoping she could find somewhere she'd enjoy working and had work up her alley.
In game, we've posted some pretty big exp numbers in BLM static. Ame still has a way to go since her WoW hiatus, but she also has a few Anniversary Ring charges left. TS and I both ran out our rings. Keri might keep a charge to use on her NIN. I've also hit the point where I need to skill up enfeeble, as well as elemental and dark skill, every level. -.-; I've been looking as some of the gear from the ZNMs as well. I can see why some people want them, but for the jobs I want to level, it just doesn't make much sense to pursue most of the gear. That isn't stopping me from participating, though. I really enjoy the fights and the fact that you are rewarded directly based on your efforts.
Aside from that, the week has been pretty tame. Looking forward to relaxing and working on getting my house in shape this weekend.
